Don Fishback
Corporate Controller
Don Fishback, Corporate Controller, was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business (with a concentration in accounting) from Westminster College in Western Pennsylvania and an MBA from SUNY at Buffalo. He joined Moog in 1981 after working as a CPA for Deloitte and Touche.
Don's career at Moog began in the Internal Audit Function, followed by a promotion to Divisional Controller. He became Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer in 1985. Don's responsibilities include SEC reporting; oversight of the Company's global systems of internal control; financial budgeting, reporting and analysis; M & A due diligence; Wall Street support (including due diligence for raising capital and Research Analysts' Q & A); bank financing support; tax planning and compliance; global accounting policies; and central shared financial services.
During the 1990's, Moog's employment increased by 50%, revenues more than doubled (to $704 million), Market Capitalization increased from $30 million to more than $500 million, and Net Earnings and EPS more than tripled. Presently, 65% of the Company's revenues are commercial (vs. 35% government) compared with 40%/60% a decade ago.
